God So Loved the World

Reflecting on Wisdom, Fr. Wahlmeier draws our attention to God's relation to creation. God did not create anything because God needs it, but rather because He loves. We exist solely because God loves us. What about evil? Evil is the absence or distortion of something good. Fr. Wahlmeier helps us to consider our own lives and whether we imitate God's selfless love toward others or use others as objects for our own gratification.
