Zacchaeus has fallen away from God, has become a traitor to his people, and has given in to greed. He turns to Jesus, presumably, as a last resort. His encounter with Jesus leaves him changed forever. Fr. Hall invites us to have the same encounter with Jesus, to invite him into our homes.
