Wednesday Mar 29, 2023
This is our sixth and final study of our Lenten Series on the Psalms. This week we have what’s arguably the most Lenten of all the psalms: Psalm 22. What makes it so Lenten is its clear connection to the cross. First, the psalm depicts a suffering servant of God whose rescue and vindication bring about the conversion of all the nations to YHWH. Sound familiar? Second, Jesus quotes the beginning of the psalm on the cross: “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
In this study, we'll walk through Psalm 22 and pull out many of the great theological nuggets it contains.

Monday Mar 20, 2023
Monday Mar 20, 2023
Reflecting on today's readings, especially the healing of the man born blind, Fr. Asitha draws our attention to our own spiritual blindness. Such blindness can take many forms. We may be blind to God's goodness and be quick to complain. We may be blind to the goodness and needs of others and instead see only their faults and our own self-interests. Whatever the source and form of our blindness, Fr. Asitha invites us to come to the light of Christ and pray, "Jesus, let me see again."
